A bit ago one of my flash drives was starting to break apart, so I had to do something to keep things together. After seeing another flash drive under the same conditions put inside a Matchbox car, I knew I could do better. How do you one-up that? Add lights!
Using one of my own old toy cars of the “Sonic Flashers” brand, which was complete with lights and siren, I managed to create a sweet new set of wheels for my flash drive. But the best part of all is that the lights really work, they
even flash along with the data transfer. The hardest part was that I didn’t have the right size solder handy and got some big, ugly globs on there.

But it works regardless and looks a lot sweeter than than those typical non-car flash drives.
